Modular, adaptable and scalable
The IV6 can be easily configured as a line array, a constant curvature array or an adaptive array.
Passive Acoustic Optimization
Passive Acoustic Optimization, or PAO, is the vehicle for achieving passive beam shaping with IV6. PAO uses the power of EASE Focus 3 software to help designers achieve very uniform coverage in an enclosure from the first listener to the last.
Fewer electronic components
One channel of DSP and amplifier per array reduces overall system costs. In many cases, a single amplifier and DSP channel can run 5 to 6 IV6 full-range enclosures in parallel.
IV6 systems are designed to operate in parallel with several elements per amplifier channel. Each element has 16 ohms.
Designed for installation
The IV6 is designed for permanent installation with tight internal rigging tolerances and cover panels for a seamless aesthetic appearance. Intelligent software makes system design quick and easy.

Impedance Calculator
Determines the maximum number of IV6-1122 array elements that can operate within the minimum impedance requirements of any amplifier channel.

Designing with Community IV6 loudspeakers made even easier
With Biamp's new version of the VenuePolar EASE Focus plug-in (included in IV6 GLL v3.20), Community IV6 loudspeaker system design is even easier.
VenuePolar™ is an EASE® Focus plug-in that automates loudspeaker system design for the Community IV6 Modular Vertical Array. This tool quickly calculates the number and type of enclosures, the frame angle, the splay angle, and how to set the 55 passive acoustic optimization settings on each IV6 enclosure in an enclosure design.
1. Full automation
Automatic synchronization of cabinet models and counts from VenuePolar to EASE Focus 3 software at the click of a button, VP to EF3.
Saves the designer the time of manually moving the configuration from the plugin to the software.
Re-optimize filters
When advanced users want to manually adjust the mechanical matrix in EASE Focus 3, there is now a filter reoptimization function within the plugin.
This new function returns the best filter settings for the given mechanical matrix, with any number of cabinets.
3. Rigging Calculator
New capabilities have been added to the Rigging Safety Calculator located in the Loads tab.
The retrofit bar now allows designers to safely build larger arrays, up to 20 cabinets, in virtually any configuration.
4. Bill of Materials
A new and improved bill of materials in the reports section provides a more streamlined summary of the quantities and types of loudspeakers, separation brackets and other accessories needed in each array to simplify the ordering process.
The report also includes a total bill of materials for the project which can be found in the last sound source.
